Craving for Cravings! at Shangri-La Plaza Mall

Craving for salad?

Then Cravings is the place for you!

Cravings has an all-you-can-eat salad bar for only P295 that also comes with splurge on their soup.

But of you order from one of their main courses, you'll get the splurge on salad for free!

Or if you order from their pasta and sandwiches, you can also get it for an additional of P95 pesos.

Their Menu:

Since I was craving for salad that day, I decided to avail of their Salad-All-You-Can.

But when I saw that a sandwich cost only around P200, I immediately ordered one and availed the splurge on salad which totals me for only around P295. Same price with the salad only but this time, I get an additional sandwich. How cool is that! :)

Few were dining that time since it was around 2pm already.

And while waiting for our orders to arrive, I feasted on the salad bar first.

They have a wide range of choices such as:
-Lettuce            -Corn         -Coleslaw
-Tomatoes        -Raisins      -Tuna
-Onions             -Eggs         -Okra
-Carrots            -Jello          -Singkamas
-Cucumber        -Beans       -Chips & dip

For the dressings, they have: Thousand Island, Caesar Dressing, Balsamic Vinaigrette and Citrus Vinaigrette.

Their soup for the day was Cream of Asparagus which I did not quite like. It tasted peppery and there was no hint of asparagus either.

They also have some jam and bread to go along with the soup.

I ordered the Hungarian Sausage Sandwich (P195) which was served hot and fresh with a plastic cover.

It was Hungarian Sausage served in a french baguette and lettuce, drizzled with mustard and mayo and finally topped with some relish. It also comes with  mashed potatoes on the side.

D got himself a Spaghetti Bolognese (P230) but did not avail of the salad since he just wanted to try the macaroni salad which I can sneak out some for him. *if you know what i mean* :)

From the look of D, he was very much satisfied with his pasta.

I was satisfied with my salad and sandwich too.

Cravings also has this Weekend Roast Buffet. For only P625 you get their eat-all-you-can soup and salad, unlimited pasta specials and a buffet of their roast favorites.

This is available during weekends only for lunch 11am-2pm and diner 6pm-9pm.
Promo period is from August 27-Oct 16.

However, it was a weekday when we visited and saw that there was a buffet table with their roast buffet specials.

They also have a promo of unlimited coffee and cakes for only P150.

A great deal already considering a slice of cake would already cost around P100.

We initially planned to avail this but were too full after our meal. Some other time maybe. :)

It was The Coffee Beanery which offers the promo and you could choose from the 5 cakes on the lowest level below.

They have 3 different kins of chocolate cakes, carrot cake and blueberry cheesecake.

Cravings Group truly knows how to plan a worthy and must-try promos for their customers.

  1. I used to love this resto back during Wilson days. Sadly food quality and taste have declined as I have experienced today in their Shang edsa branch. I ordered Chicken ala Jonathan which was tasteless and presented poorly, Chicken in a basket that tasted like a cheap Jollijeep variety, and Ceasar salad that was overflowing with an instant/bottle tasting dressing. The salad and soup bar was a disaster too, you have to queue and wait for plates to come. Worst of all, it was an expensive lunch for a cheap tasting food. It surely ruined my family's Sunday brunch, we should have eaten in Cibo or Recipes. Oh well, charge it to experience. :( ... an expensive one that is.
