KFC Streetwise Spoonfuls Desserts

KFC Philippines has a new line of dessert offerings called Streetwise Spoonfuls.

The desserts come in 4 different flavors:

Mango Cheesecake, Chocolate Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse, and Choco Banana Pie.

I was able to try 3 out of the 4 flavors they offer for just P29 each cup.

Chocolate Mousse

The Chocolate Mousse was basically layers of chocolate cake, mocha, and whipped cream. For just P29 I would say that it's definitely worth it. It would be best to eat it after chilling because the mousse tends to melt when exposed to room temperature for quite some time.

Chocolate Tiramisu

The Chocolate Tiramisu is layers of coffee flavored cake, coffee and chocolate cream with whipped cream on top then sprinkled with some chocolate shavings.

It tasted good but I was expecting more from it. For me, it was just like the Chocolate mousse with coffee cream added.

Mango Cheesecake 

My personal favorite is the Mango Cheesecake. It has layers of crusted grahams, lightly creamed cheese, mango cream and mango syrup with mango bits. It's a very light and perfect dessert after a KFC meal. The mango cream was smooth and the cheese layer was not too heavy and rich. It promises a melts-in-your-mouth goodness after every spoonful. :)

I'm looking forward to try the Choco Banana Pie next. From the looks and sound of it, I'm surely gonna love it too.
