Breakfast at Torch Restaurant International Fusion Cuisine- Connecticut, Greenhills

Torch Restaurant holds a special place in my heart. We may not dine here often, but each time we do, it feels truly memorable. It was here when D and I celebrated our 1st anniversary together, and he surprised me with a love song rendered by two of Torch's staff Gwen and Melanie. How can I forget that special night.. Up to now, I could not believe he did that. Check out that sweet surprise here.

Last month, a spontaneous Saturday morning brought us to Torch Restaurant for a quick breakfast.

Even before arriving at the place, I already knew what I would order. I've always wanted to try Torch's Truffled Eggs Benedict (P235.95) and finally this day came.

The Truffled Eggs Benedict has two poached eggs with strips of crispy bacon over a toasted bun, drizzled with white truffle oil and topped with Hollandaise sauce. Love it! A must-try!

U.S. Angus Beef Tapa (P186.95)

D ordered for the classic Filipino tapsilog with sauteed U.S Angus Beef Tapa slices, marinated in Torch's original recipe. Taste was really good with a balance of salty and sweet, but the serving of the tapa was not enough for him.

Breakfast in Torch also includes a BOTTOMLESS house blend coffee. Great news for coffee lovers!

Peppermill's Signature Roll (P399.95)

What you shouldn't miss ordering in Torch is their wide selection of sushi rolls. We got the Peppermill's Signature Roll which is described as their sushi roll filled with soft-shelled crab and salmon skin, topped with crab meat and baked with a spicy mango sauce.

The one that we got was even better with shrimp, unagi, mango and tamago in it, generously topped with kani and crispy wonton strips. I think this was more like their Torch's Signature Roll which is closer to the description on the menu. Their sushi rolls were so big that it was hard to pop a piece into the mouth. A bit pricey for an order of sushi but quality, taste and serving was all worth it!

Once again, Torch made our day special with appetizing food and great service. These wasabi smileys successfully made us smile.. Good vibes for the whole day. What a great way to start the morning at Torch! How I wish Torch is just near our place.. Looking forward to have breakfast at Torch again.
