House of Desserts: Fruitas Group of Companies- Robinson's Magnolia

Fruitas Group of Companies started as a small beverage stand offering fresh fruit shakes in SM Manila way back in 2002. A decade after, the company has now expanded into a number of concept stores that made a name in the food and beverage industry.

Earlier this month, we were able to visit Fruitas' House of Desserts at the lower ground level of Robinson's Magnolia. It occupies a whole kiosk that houses several concept stores from the Fruitas Group of Companies like Fruitas, Buko ni Fruitas, Black Pearl, Mango Farm, and Buko Loco.

The name that started its fruitful success, Fruitas has been constantly providing the Filipinos with a healthy and affordable beverage since 2002. It currently has 250 outlets and counting.

Fruitas has always been our go-to place for fresh fruit shakes aside from its BIG competitor. Other than their wide range of fruit shake combinations, they also have bottled juice drinks that's equally good and refreshing.

Buko ni Fruitas, established on the year 2005, was conceptualized to serve buko variants in an unconventional manner. Their buko juice is served fresh from newly opened coconuts, while other variants like Buko Pandan (P59) and Buko Halo-Halo (P79) are presentably served in fresh coconut shells.

Having almost the same concept as Buko ni Fruitas, Buko Loco introduces a fun and creative way to drink coconut water and coconut shakes. I am not a big fan of coconut, nor do I drink buko juice, but the Buko Shake from Buko Loco sure did tickle my fancy.

Just like Fruitas, Buko Loco also offers flavored coconut juice drinks in bottles.

Coco Juice P35, Flavored Coco Juice w/ Jello P40

Something for the kids and kids at heart, Fruitas Ice Candy gives that nostalgic feeling of eating a simple ice candy. They currently have 22 delicious flavors priced at P5-P15 only.

Cookies & Cream, Chocolate, Mango, Buko Pandan, Quezo Real

Black Pearl caters to Filipinos who love the powdered shakes with chewy black pearls. Honestly, I am not a big fan of those artificially flavored powdered shakes. But the good news is, Black Pearl also offers fresh fruit shakes that's healthy and refreshing at the same time.

Last but not the least, Mango Farm is a concept store that specializes on the all-time favorite Filipino fruit. Having the philosophy of "Fresh Harvest All Day Everyday", customers are guaranteed to enjoy fresh ripe and green mangoes on their desserts and shakes.
