Osaka Ohsho in Megamall- New Fuwatoro Dishes and Gyoza Flavors

Osaka Ohsho, Japan's "King of Gyoza" recently launched their brand new Gyoza flavors and Fuwatoro Tenshin Han sets that bring their gyoza and fuwatoro tenshin han to a whole new different level.

Starting off with the new Bacon & Cheese Gyoza- crunchy honeycured bacon bits & gourmet cheeses, blended w/ lean ground pork meat, shredded cabbage, garlic & ginger in their classic soft Japanese flour wrap, steamed and pan fried to perfection.

Fancy a dessert gyoza? Have a taste of their unique Peanut Butter & Banana Gyoza- a sweet treat filled with caramelized bananas and JIF Crunchy Peanut Butter, served with a side of vanilla ice cream.

Just last week, we were able to feast on Osaka Ohsho's new offerings and classic menu favorites.

New Gyoza Flavors

Bacon and Cheese Gyoza (6 pcs-P190, 12 pcs.-P380)

As I mentioned in my previous post about Osaka Ohsho, the cheese and nori gyoza are my favorites. But having tried the new Bacon & Cheese Gyoza, I have decided to replace the cheese gyoza on my list. Why not? It's still my favorite cheese gyoza with a bonus filling of bacon! And as the saying goes: Everything Tastes Better with Bacon.

Peanut Butter & Banana Dessert Gyoza (P210)

Gyoza served with vanilla ice cream? That is because this is Osaka Ohsho's special Peanut Butter & Banana Dessert Gyoza. It's basically caramelized bananas with JIF crunchy peanut butter in a gyoza wrapper. Surprisingly, it was not too sweet as I thought it would be. A must-try!

New Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Combinations

Remember Osaka Ohsho's fluffiest omelette? Their Fuwatoro Tenshin Han now comes with your favorite Japanese toppings!

Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Ebi Tempura (P395)

Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Curry Cheese Tonkatsu (P450)

Instead of the classic Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Japanese gravy, this comes with a rich and mildly spiced curry, with cheese oozing out from the lean and meaty pork katsu.

Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Chicken Karaage (P395) and Fuwatoro Tenshin Han Mabo Tofu (P380)

Classic Favorites

Osaka Ohsho Salad (P195-half, P330-full)

The Osaka Ohsho Salad is a bowl of crunch and sweetness, from the fresh lettuce, mangoes, kani, cherry tomatoes and candied walnuts.

Black Vinegar Chicken (P325)

One of my favorites in Osaka Ohsho aside from their gyoza is their Black Vinegar Chicken. A unique twist to the classic sweet and sour dish.

Yakisoba (P348)

For noodles, we had their tasty Yakisoba mixed with generous servings of vegetables and seafood topped with bonito flakes.

Saba Shio Yaki (P310)

I don't normally order grilled mackerel in Japanese restaurants as most of the time I get disappointed with its serving size. Good enough, their Saba Shio Yaki was very plump with serving size bigger than the usual. Best to squeeze some lemons to it.

Beef Sukiyaki (P380)

I love the sweet and savory taste of Sukiyaki, and Osaka Ohsho's version did not disappoint with its sweet and tasty broth, chewy glass noodles, tofu squares, veggies, and tender beef slices.

Be sure to drop by Osaka Ohsho again and sample their new dishes and gyoza flavors. I'll definitely be going back for their Bacon and Cheese GyozaPeanut Butter & Banana Dessert Gyoza, Black Vinegar Chicken and Fuwatoro Tenshin Han dishes.
