Last Saturday, we experienced the first Rockwell Sunset Street Party at Joya Drive featuring Rockwell's partner tenants namely UCC, Bizu, Dean & Deluca, Woodfire Bistro, Grace Park, Rambla, and Refinery.
It was an afternoon of good food, refreshing drinks, and fun activities for the whole family. Guests were able to dine, lounge and drink, while enjoying live music from Toni B., Vince Lahorra, DJ Kyle Tan, and DJ Adrian Ong from sunset 'til midnight.
Kids enjoyed the kiddie salon where girls got their hair styled and made up. Others had fun at the arts and craft station where they unleashed their creativity and imagination.
While the kids were keeping themselves busy, the adults were enjoying the selection of sumptuous dishes offered by the participating restaurants.
Bizu Creperie
Bizu Creperie showcased four crepe creations that looked equally tempting and delicious. We got the simple Buerre Sucre Crepe which is a hot crepe of butter and sugar served with vanilla ice cream.
Woodfire Bistro
We sampled Woodfire Bistro's Tutto Carne pizza and the Black Tagliatelle pasta with assorted seafood in lemon aglio-olio. It was my first time to try Woodfire Bistro and I must say I was impressed. I personally enjoyed the pasta and I can't wait to try more of their dishes soon!
Grace Park
Rambla
D enjoyed customizing his own Gin Tonic at Rambla's booth. He made this cocktail of The London No.1 Original Blue Gin with lime, orange, lemon peel and rosemary.
Chef Jessie
We have tried a few of Chef Jessie's restaurants (Chef Jessie in Rockwell, Top of the Citi in Makati, and 100 Revolving in Libis) before, and our experiences were mostly great! This time, we sampled Chef Jessie's Beef Burger which was simple yet tasty. We would have enjoyed this burger more when served hot.
UCC Coffee
UCC served their newly launched Nitro Draft Cold Brew. It is basically a cold brew infused with nitrogen for a smoother and creamier blend. I found this cup very refreshing and perfect for the hot weather.

I've visited Grace Park before, and it was nice to try their dishes again. This time, we sampled their Meatballs and Creamy Polenta.

Refinery
Last stop for the day was Refinery for their Strawberry Cordial- fresh strawberry puree with soda water. A sweet and refreshing cup to end the day!
Looking forward to more street parties at Rockwell soon! It was nice to see amazing restaurants come together in one place and offer guests their bestselling dishes and drinks.
