Wilson's Place Bed & Breakfast- Where to Stay in Tagaytay

It was a last minute decision to stay in Tagaytay for the Holy Week, when most of the hotels are fully-booked. Fortunately, we discovered Wilson's Place Bed & Breakfast.

After our breakfast and tour at Gourmet Farms, we had a quick visit to Puzzle Mansion owned by Ms. Gina Gil-Lacuna, Guinness World Record holder for having the largest collection of jigsaw puzzles in the world.

Then, we finally headed to Wilson's Place Bed & Breakfast.

We booked two of their family rooms which is good for 4 pax per room. The package already includes breakfast and dinner for everyone.

The family rooms are on the other side of the main house where the common dining area and regular rooms are located.

Each room is equipped with an lcd tv, and complete set of amenities like bottled water, dental kits, towels, tissue, shampoo, lotion, body wash and soap.

We got the Olive Room and Rose Room which have green and pink walls respectively.

We toured around the main house and checked some of their regular and petite rooms at the second floor.

We got to peek inside the Queen room which is actually the owner's room.

The main house has a common living area where you can just sit back, play the piano or read some magazines.

Then there's our favorite part of the house, the dining area where guests are served with delicious home-cooked food. If there's one thing I like most about Wilson's Place, it's their food!

Check out our dinner for the first night:

Toasted Wheat Bread w/ Sardines Pate

Potato Soup

Chicken Caesar Salad

Cereal Prawn Balls- my favorite!!!

Chicken Cordon Bleu

Buttered Corn Rice

Pasta in Oil with Fish Tenders

Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream- must-try!!!

Everything was just so good from the appetizers down to dessert. It made me look forward to dinner for our next day.

The next morning, we woke up early for a quick morning swim.

They also have a small massage area should guests want to avail their spa services.

Then it's time for breakfast!

Fruits with Yogurt

Beef Tapa

Gourmet Tuyo

Tuna Sandwich

Breaded Bangus

Hot Chocolate and Coffee

Again, everything was just perfect! Wish I can have this kind of breakfast everyday.

Here's our second night dinner menu:

Pumpkin Soup

Caesar Salad

Baked Salmon

Grilled Pork Chop w/ Stewed Apples

Calamansi Mint Juice and Vanilla Ice Cream

Our second night dinner wasn't as great as the first since there were less dishes served. Plus, I was hoping for another round of Apple Crumble for dessert but was served only with vanilla ice cream.

Our Last Day Breakfast:

Coffee

Cheese Pimiento Sandwich

Tuna Omelette

Longganisa

Garlic Rice

Our breakfast wasn't as heavy as the first but everything was still good and satisfying.

There's a spacious area at the back where we played badminton. It's also ideal for a small grilling and barbecue party don't you think?

Wilson's Place is the perfect getaway destination in Tagaytay. A place where the whole family can just relax, enjoy the cool weather and experience an ultimate staycation, far from Tagaytay's bustling and crowded area. It's indeed a home far away from home.

How to reach Wilson's Place Bed & Breakfast:
From Tagaytay Rotonda, just follow Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway. Drive past Bag of Beans and Sotogrande Subdivision and turn right once you reach Maglabe Drive. You will see an arch that says "Welcome to Brgy. Asisan". You will pass by Flower Farm and another arch until you reach Wilson's Place. Their signage is really small so be sure to drive slowly after passing by the second arch. Drive past the main gate and make a right on the small driveway to park at the back entrance.
