Merry Cremas Festival 2014 by Alaska Crema- Eastwood Food Bazaar

It's the time of the year again when Alaska Crema brings us the creamiest food festival at the Eastwood Mall Open Park- Merry Cremas Festival 2014! I was able to experience the food bazaar last year and I can say that it just keeps getting better and creamier. While I arrived at a much later time compared last year, I was still able to sample most of the participating concessionaires' featured products especially made with Alaska Crema All-Purpose Cream.

Here are some of the great concessionaires I tried this year (in no particular order):

Cupcakes by Cupcake Mistress

I know I mentioned that this list is arranged in no particular order, but the cupcakes by the Cupcake Mistress deserve a top billing. I tried their Mountain Dew flavored cupcake called Just Dew It! and it was Dew-licious! Now, I regret not trying out the other flavors.

Carmelitas by Popcakes

These Carmelitas from Popcakes reminded me of my favorite revel bars- chewy and chocolately made healthier with oats, but creamier with Alaska Crema.

Sugar Babies Unlimited Desserts

Sugar Babies' entry to the event was this chocolate treat coated in red velvet crumbs with a rich and creamy surprise filling made with Alaska Crema. This was exclusively created for the Merry Cremas Festival.

Strawberry Panna Cotta by Blue Toque

It was love at first sight upon seeing Blue Toque's Strawberry Panna Cotta. It was not surprising that Blue Toque bagged the first place this year! Congratulations Mary Anne of Blue Toque! :)

Malunggay Carrot Duo Cake by Paul Calvin's Bakerie

Probably the healthiest cake among all purveyors during the Merry Cremas Festival was Paul Calvin Bakerie's Malunggay Carrot Duo Cake. Imagine having your vegetable serving in a cake!

Nobachake from Cupkies by K!

Nobachake from Cupkies by K! was a take on the classic no bake cheesecake with graham cracker crust, oreo cheesecake layer made with Alaska Crema, and chocnut bits topping.

Matty's Mango Cake from CuppyCakes by Carmen

Matty's Mango Cake may seem so simple, yet you can tell that it was made with high quality ingredients like Alaska Crema and sweet ripe mangoes.

Gourmet Dips by Gordita's Gourmet Products

After the desserts and sweets, let's move on to the savories. I wasn't able to try much samples from the merchants offering savory treats since they were all gone when I arrived. Fortunately, there were still samples of Gordita's various gourmet dips all made with Alaska Crema. My personal favorites were Spinach Pesto and Basil Pesto

Meatloaf ala Mary from The Serving Spoon Manila

Another savory delight during the event was The Serving Spoon Manila's Meatloaf ala Mary. I never knew you can use Alaska Crema in making a meatloaf recipe. Yes, with Alaska Crema, you are not limited to just desserts, but to savory dishes as well.

Triple Choco Fudge Bars from Batter Up by Flo

Bacardi Rum and Fresh Lemon Pound Cake by Choco ATBP

Chocolate Pasta by Cooking Ina's Kitchen

I was first hesitant to try the Chocolate Pasta by Cooking Ina's Kitchen, but decided to give it a go since it looked interesting. I found it very unusual yet very innovative at the same time. I'd still like my chocolate separate from my pasta though.

Kisstachio by Sweet Fevrier

What happens when you combine coconut sugar, oatmeal, pistachio and melted Hershey's Kisses? Kisstachio! Did you know that you can use Alaska Crema to make goodies like Sweet Fevrier’s Carlos Choco Chip Cookies, Kisstachio, and Triple Chocolate Cream Cheese Brownies

Congratulations to the winners of this year's Merry Cremas Festival:
1st Place- Strawberry Panna Cotta w/ White Choco Mousse by Blue Toque
2nd Place- Creamy Pumpkin Soup by Kuya Pao's Grill
3rd Place- Cupcakes by the Cupcake Mistress
