Cartimar Shopping Center in Pasay is a well-known area for pet lovers and animal enthusiasts. It's the ultimate destination for all your pet needs and supplies. Various shops sell pets such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, and other exotic animals you can think of. But aside from pet shops, Cartimar is also a famous destination for Korean and Japanese food finds at very affordable prices.
After shopping for some Japanese and Korean snacks in the area, we went to this small restaurant called Arisoo Korean and Japanese Eatery for a quick merienda.
Salmon Sashimi (P180)- Fresh slices of raw salmon served with kimchi and miso soup
Everyone was served with refillable miso soup while waiting for the orders to arrive.
Sanma (Saury) Bento (P180)- fried saury with vegetables served with rice, kimchi and miso soup
Bento boxes in Arisoo are so affordable at P180 per set. An order is already a compete meal in itself served with assorted veggies, salad, gyoza, rice and bottomless miso soup.
Cheese Topokki (P120)- seasoned stir-fried rice cake with cheese, served with kimchi and miso soup
I personally enjoyed this sweet and spicy dish of Korean rice cake with fish cake slices, assorted veggies and cheese. The touch of cheese made the sauce creamier, sweeter and less spicy.
Jap Chae Bap (P120)- sweet potato noodles with vegetables served with kimchi, rice and miso soup
Original Korean Fried Chicken (P110- 2pcs./ P290- 6pcs.)
Six large pieces of juicy and flavorful chicken drumsticks deep fried to perfect crunch. It is also available in a sweet and spicy flavor, but since I was with non-spicy eaters, we settled for the original variant.
Arisoo Menu:
Arisoo Korean and Japanese Eatery is a great destination after visiting some pet shops or groceries around Cartimar. Diners can satisfy both their Japanese and Korean food cravings without going over the budget as Arisoo offers inexpensive dishes without sacrificing taste and flavor. We will definitely be back to try more of their dishes and other specialties.

Wow! Prices are really affordable considering the generous servings of food. The menu also looks interesting. It will be a breeze for customers to order since there are pictures side by side the names of the food to guide them. Is this restaurant open every day for lunch and dinner?
