22nd Pre-Birthday Celebration- Alabang Town Center, Music 21

After my chinese class in Binondo and lunch at Ersao, Denby and I went for a roadtrip to Alabang. We never had the chance to explore the south during our Saturdates since it's far away from our place. After 2 hrs of (his)driving and (my)sleeping, we finally reached Alabang Town Center. We strolled inside and checked out some stores. We then ended up in Timezone and played Stacker-which we failed to conquer. :( 

We also tried the Van Gogh Workroom Photobooth(P55). Between the Portrait and Caricature, we decided to go for the portrait version. After a few shots, we finally chose our best photo and Van Gogh started his artistic flair.

We left ATC at around 6PM and headed to our next stop, MAKATI. We were thinking of where to have dinner when the idea of KTV crossed our minds. Since we already tried Centerstage before, we decided to try Music 21.

When we got there, a few cars were already parked in front. Upon entering their reception area, we were asked to wait for a couple of minutes while they set up our room. Giving us a go signal, an attendant led us upstairs to room 20 (coincidentally,my birthdate!).
   

Our room had a native theme with banig-like walls and wooden frames.


Prequel: A few weeks back, I was craving for nachos and
buffalo wings!


As expected, they had those in their menu. We ordered  nachos, chicken wings, and sushi. To top it off,  we had Tanduay Ice for our drinks.


The waiter took our orders and oriented us on how to use their system. 
 

After a couple of songs, our orders finally arrived.

We've been to several KTV bars around the metro and we were really impressed with Music 21's.  We were really surprised with the quality of their food. 

Their chicken wings were served hot with chips on the side. The chicken's skin was so sweet and crisped to perfection. Its meat was so tender and juicy that we couldn't help  ourselves from eating it with our hands.

For their nachos, even if we got the regular size, their serving was really generous for 2. It was overflowing with toppings ( cheese, tomatoes, ground beef, onions and did i mentioned cheese??) It's perfect for cheese-aholicslike me.

The sushi that we ordered didn't had much difference from other restaurants out there. Although the taste was common, they drizzled a generous amount of japanese mayo, sprinkled with tobiko (fish roe) and sesame seeds to make the dish more aromatic and tasteful.

Overall, I'm giving Music 21 a "two thumbs-up" for their service, quality of food and price. For P84/head per hour, it was definitely a good deal.
