Black Olive Cerveseria- Mediterranean Cuisine in Capitol Commons

Went to Chef Carlo Miguel's Black Olive Cerveseria in Capitol Commons for a lovely Valentine's dinner with D last February. We were set to have their Special Valentine Menu- a 3-course Mediterranean meal for 2, inclusive of  2 glasses Montrouge wine.

They gave a generous amount of toasted baguette slices to get us started.

A few minutes later, this salad of grilled watermelon, gorgonzola, salted caramel walnuts and grapes came in.

Caffe Dolce- Vegetarian Comfort Food+ Tea+ Desserts in Banawe

D and I found a new hang-out place in Banawe. As I mentioned before, we are starting to live a healthier lifestyle this year. That includes working out at least twice a week and eating healthier food once in a while. Since we work near Banawe, we'd always frequent the dimsum places along the area. On the quest to look for healthier options, we chanced upon a vegetarian cafe called Caffe Dolce. Caffe Dolce has been in the business for years now but it was only recently that we got to try it out.

Caffe Dolce is just right in front of Wan Chai so we've always been curious on what dishes it offers.

The first time we visited, I immediately fell in love with the place. Who wouldn't? It was lovely, neat and dainty with red posh couches, floral wall papers, and elegant plastic chairs.
