Linguini Fini 100% Homemade Fresh Pasta- SM Mega Fashion Hall

Linguini Fini is one of the new restaurants that opened in SM Mega Fashion Hall recently. It originated from Hong Kong and brought to Manila by The Moment Group ( Burger Bar, Cue Modern Barbecue, Manam, 8 Cuts Burger Blends, Phat Pho, Q-Daddy). Honestly, I haven't heard about Linguini Fini until it went abuzz on my social media feeds earlier this month.

D decided to celebrate his birthday at Linguini Fini a week after it opened last September 8. It wasn't as packed as we thought it would be, but reservations were made nevertheless.

Complimentary bread was served together with balsamic and olive oil.

We ordered some of their best-sellers starting with The Bronx (P785)

I have to admit, we felt that it was a bit pricey given its size. But after one bite, you'll realize that it's somehow worth it. You'll appreciate the meaty combination of sausage, pepperoni, and porchetta in a crunchy and chewy crust.

Papardelle "Nose to Tail Bolo" (P430)Pork testa, veal, oxtail ragu, Parmiagiano Reggiano

One of Linguini Fini's best-sellers. The description may seem overwhelming for some, but it was surprisingly subtle in taste and flavor. The papardelle pasta was what made me enjoyed this dish. Definitely 100% homemade and fresh!

Bavette (P495)- fresh crab meat, aligue, chili, mint, dayap

For those who want some kick to their pasta, the Bavette will not disappoint with its rich and interesting flavors. It can be  a bit spicy for some, but I liked it anyway.

Sliced Porchetta (P595)- slow roasted, fennel rubbed pork belly with caramelized onions marmalata

As much as I want to love this dish, my palate seemed to disagree. The pork belly itself was good, but it was the fennel rub in between the pork that I did not appreciate. We should have ordered the Chopped Porchetta instead.

Italian Hangar Cobb (P375)- mixed greens, hanger steak tips, pancetta, 6 min. egg, gorgonzola dressing

Even though we thought prices are quite steep given their serving, we couldn't deny that Linguini Fini makes the freshest pasta and uses the freshest ingredients to their dishes. It may not be as packed as Ippudo, but on the bright side, you don't have to wait for hours just to get your fresh pasta and pizza fix.
