Bellysima Food Festival 2015 Top Picks at Glorietta 5 Activity Center

Have you heard of the good news? Mercato Centrale's Bellysima Food Festival 2015 will now be a regular weekend market after its 2-day success last Independence Day weekend. You can now catch new and upcoming home-based business entrepreneurs every Friday and Saturday at the Glorietta 5 Activity Center from 10am to 10pm.

Here are some of our favorite vendors during the event:

Salata- specialty sauces, salad dressings and healthy snacks

I'm no fan of cilantro, but surprisingly, I didn't hate Salata's Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette (P220). Decided to buy a bottle for my parents who love the herb very much. I also bought some homemade Spiced Tortilla Chips (P120) and Asian-Style Crisps (P100) great for late night snacking.

Dolci Coffee Jelly (P50) by Reysons Food

This is not your ordinary coffee jelly. This coffee-flavored nata de coco gives an extra bite to your drink or dessert. Take advantage of their 4+1 promo at Bellysima Food Festival!

G Stuff Kefir Spread (P350) from The Greenhouse PHHealthy Shots Manila

Among those detox juices, fruit cups, flavored VCOs and other healthy snacks, this Kefir Spread from G Stuff at the Healthy Shots Manila booth caught our attention. Creamy, garlicky, tangy, the perfect dip for chips, crackers, or vegetables sticks.

Almond Butter Cinnamon Vanilla (P320) Made by Max

I love nuts especially almonds, so imagine my excitement when I discovered this Almond Butter Made by Max. I got the Cinnamon Vanilla flavor, a sweeter variant than their best-selling Extra Dark Cacao.

Lokalitea (P60)- Flavored Turmeric Tea (Calamansi, Pandan, Lemongrass)

The family has been into turmeric tea since last year, and upon seeing these flavored turmeric drinks from Lokalitea, I knew I had to take some home with me. We were told that the lemon grass is the healthiest among the three flavors .

Lenya's Gourmet Tinapa (P185)

I have tried gourmet tuyo before, and this time, I decided to try the Tinapa from Lenya's Gourmet. Can't wait to whip up a tinapa pasta recipe or tinapa fried rice with this buy.

GK Enchanted Farms- social enterprise through homemade products

Home of the hit-beverage Bayani Brew, Gawad Kalinga (GK) continues their social enterprise advocacy by continuously coming up with new homemade and homegrown products that help and support local communities and farmers.

Bayani Brew (P45)

Honey Calamansi w/ Cucumber Juice (P40) from Armanisse's Kitchen Cafe

These icy cold Honey Calamansi Cucumber Juice were a crowd favorite. We saw a lot of customers holding on to a bottle while going around the booths as their refreshments.

Edible Cookie Dough (P130) and Cereal Milk (P130) from Milkman Dairy Bar

Another crowd favorite, the booth never seems to run out of curious foodies sampling their Edible Cookie Dough and Cereal Milk. I liked their Everything Nice which is cookie dough with literally everything on it- potato chips, pretzels, caramel kisses and cookies!

Peanut Praline Butter by Jacob's- Original (P180) and Hot Chili (P190)

Think of peanut brittle in a jar, and you'll have Jacob's Praline Butter- an interesting twist to the classic peanut butter spread.

Niji Desserts

I wasn't able to try all flavors from Niji Desserts since we just had too much sweets for the day. But that didn't stop me from sampling their Matcha Green Tea brownie. No regrets at all!
