Salad Stop!, the favorite go-to salad bar in the country, opened its newest branch in Burgos Circle last April. Salad Stop! has been serving healthy alternative meals in Singapore, before the SSI Group finally brought the concept here in the Philippines.
Last week, I was invited to a an electrifying spinning class at Electric Studio, where participants experiences a 45-minute intense body workout. It was an afternoon of fun and fitness, followed by a gratifying post-work out meal at Salad Stop! Burgos Circle branch.
Everyone was treated to a spread of Salad Stop!'s bestselling salads and wraps.
Man-Go Wild! Salad (P260/453kcal) is a hearty mix of crabstick, green mango, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onions, white turnip, yellow raisins, and fried garlic, on a bed of fresh and crisp romaine lettuce, drizzled with mango vinaigrette.
Iron "Wo" Man (P350/668kcal) is a simple but tasty salad of baby spinach mixed with premium toppings like feta cheese, roasted pumpkin, yellow raisins, and toasted almonds in raspberry vinaigrette.
For wraps, the Hail Caesar (P250/719kcal) and Oh Crab Lah! (P250/833kcal) were served.
I personally liked the more filling Oh Crab Lah with crisp romaine lettuce, crabstick, egg, vermicelli, cherry tomatoes, red onions, and croutons, in Singapore chili crab dressing.
The Hail Caesar was not bad itself, with crisp romaine lettuce, shaved parmesan, egg, croutons and bacon bits in a classic caesar dressing.
Salad Stop! also introduced their 100% natural fruit smoothie flavors with chia seeds:
Berry Grape-ful (P150)- a berry-licious slushie of grapes, banana, blueberries, and strawberries
Yellow Mellow (P150)- a tangy and tropical blend of passion fruit, pineapple and mango
Customers can also customize their own salad or wrap, and choose from over 60 fresh toppings, and 18 homemade dressings, to go with their favorite greens.
Salad Stop! will soon be opening their next branch in Alabang.
