Roadster Roasters- Get #FueledByMeat at the TV5 Launchpad Bldg Mandaluyong

Are you fueled by meat? There's a new spot in town for carnivore foodies to satisfy their meat cravings.

Roadster Roasters is this new restaurant located at the TV5 Launchpad Bldg. in Mandaluyong.

We dropped by for a very late lunch one Saturday afternoon, to sample some of Roadster's signature roasts and dishes. The place wasn't hard to find, but parking was a bit of a problem. A parking lot is currently in the works to cater to dining customers in the area soon.

Roadster Roasters is a haven for meat-lovers. Their specialties include a 12-hour slow-cooked beef, 4-hr roasted pork barbecue ribs, and a crackling brick oven-roasted pork belly.

We started off with a House Blend Iced Tea (P75)- a refreshing blend of homemade tea and fresh lemons.

We also had the Roadster Nachos (P280) while waiting for the main dishes. Roadster's version comes in alternating layers of homemade tortilla chips, cheese sauce, jalapenos, olives and ground beef, to make sure everything is loaded with toppings up to the last bite.

First to come out was this half rack Barbecue Pork Ribs (P760) slow roasted for 4 hours, to achieve that fall-off-the-bone tenderness. Serving size was really huge and can be shared by 4-6 people.

The presentation of meat on the wooden chopping board was a nice touch, but the sauce kept dripping on the table. Good thing an extra sauce was served on the side.

The Roast Pork Belly (P680/1kg) was surprisingly delightful. It had a good fat to meat ratio, and the skin was perfectly crunchy. But more than the moist and tender meat, it was the mango chutney sauce that made this dish unique and extra special. Who knew mangoes could complement roasted pork so well?

Of course you can still go for the classic soy and vinegar dip, but I highly encourage you to try this refreshing combination.

The Texas-Style Slow-Cooked Beef Brisket (P300/150g) is another one of Roadster's signature meats.

The beef slices were exceptionally tender, and packed with smoky flavors and spices. Instead of the usual barbecue sauce, the brisket was ladled with homemade gravy, which helped in bringing out the natural flavors of the beef.

Roadster Roasters also have a selection of regular and premium side dishes to complement their meats. We chose the Smoked Corn (P90) on the cob, Mashed Sweet Potato (P65) and Asian Slaw (P65) to go along our meat selections.

Roadster Roasters Menu:

We definitely got #FueledByMeat during our recent visit to Roadster Roasters. I highly recommend the Nachos, Barbecue Pork Ribs, and Roast Pork Belly with the Mango Chutney. Hope they offer desserts and more drink options on the menu soon.
