Recreating Nestle's Creamy Chicken Adobo Recipe at Home #CreateWithCream

I recently wrote about how Nestle All Purpose Cream levels up a dish and constantly surprises us with new twists in cooking. The #CreateWithCream campaign aims to show us that Nestle All Purpose Cream is not just for desserts, but also for everyday home-style dishes, such as our favorite local Adobo.

During the event, we experienced firsthand how it was easy to cook the Creamy Chicken Adobo recipe by Nestle. Of course, with the assistance of celebrity chef Rob Pengson, and the cooking skills of my partner Sumi, making the dish was a breeze.

Now, here’s the challenging part. During the event, we were all given this big box filled with the essential things we need in cooking the Creamy Chicken Adobo recipe at home. Yes, we will now need to recreate this recipe at home, without any help from culinary experts or home chefs. Good thing we volunteered to join the cook-off during the event, so I somehow have an idea on what to expect. Plus, they provided everything I need for my #CreateWithCream task, so Challenge Accepted!

Here is the recipe for Nestle’s Creamy Chicken Adobo:

You’ll need very minimal ingredients to make this dish.

The process is so easy as well. First step is to boil the chicken in vinegar, soy sauce, water, Maggi Magic Sarap, and garlic. Cook and simmer until chicken becomes tender. In a pan, heat oil and fry the chicken until golden brown. Add in the reserved sauce and simmer until sauce is almost dry.

The most important step is to pour in the Nestle All Purpose Cream, then remove from the heat.

Serve and enjoy your very own Nestle Creamy Chicken Adobo.
Finally, pat yourself on the back for a job well done!

Recreating this dish was fun and easy. It took longer time to prepare and cook everything because I had no help this time, but I’m quite proud with the outcome. It was creamy, savory and delicious, garnering the approval and thumbs up of my family.
