Since foodies nowadays are into bao buns and and pork buns, I thought of making my own version, but this time, giving a Pinoy twist to the famous Asian sandwich using Purefoods Sexy Chix Adobo.

Prep Time: 15-20 minutes
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Steam the buns for 8-10 minutes.
2. Simultaneously saute minced garlic in oil while buns are being steamed.
3. Pour contents of Sexy Chix Adobo in a saucepan and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
4. Fill the steamed buns with the Sexy Chix Adobo and top with a slice of egg.

Sexy Chix AdoBao

Ingredients:
- 2 cans of Sexy Chix Adobo
- 8 pcs. steamed buns/bao
- 5-6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 leek, sliced into strips
- 2 hard boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1/4 cup cashew nuts, crushed
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1/2 cabbage, shredded
Procedure:
1. Steam the buns for 8-10 minutes.
2. Simultaneously saute minced garlic in oil while buns are being steamed.
3. Pour contents of Sexy Chix Adobo in a saucepan and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
4. Fill the steamed buns with the Sexy Chix Adobo and top with a slice of egg.
5. Add leeks, bell pepper and onions to finish. Sprinkle with cashew nuts if desired.
6. Serve with shredded cabbage and carrots on the side and Enjoy!
