Wai Ying Fastfood- Noodles and Dimsum Cravings

Wai Ying in Benavidez is just walking distance from our house so D and I went there for some dimsum and noodles last night.

I love that they are open til late evening because we usually have those late night cravings for dimsum.

We got ourselves a bowl of Beef Mami (P100) to share and some order of dimsum.

The bowl of Beef Mami was big and there was a generous serving of noodles and beef chunks. The soup base was light and not that salty too. 

Chicken Feet (P60)- there were 3 pieces of chicken feet with tausi in sweet and spicy sauce.

Hakaw (P70)- four pieces of steamed crystal shrimp in clear rice wrapper.

Raddish Cake (P60)- 3 pieces of shredded raddish cut into squares then pan fried for a crunchy layer on the outside but still retaining its softness on the inside. Served with hoisin sauce on the side.

Ahhh..the perks of having Chinese Tea Houses as your neighbor. :)
