Café Breton- Greenbelt 3

D and I went to Glorietta yesterday since D signed up with the Nikon Photoworld Asia event located at the activity center.

He attended the Advertising Photgraphy talk by Xander Angeles which lasted for about an hour while I made myself busy window shopping :)

He got a complimentary planner from Nikon for asking a question and his name was also included in the raffle.

After the event, we went to Greenbelt to have our dinner. It took us an hour of walking and deciding where to eat and finally we ended up somewhere.

Cafe Breton.

I wanted something light and Cafe Breton was definitely the place to go for a quick fix meal.

I was torn between Galette Bretonne and Galette Paysanne but decided to go for the latter since it was more filling with the hungarian sausage and egg.

The Galette Paysanne (P287) was served with a whole Hungarian sausage, onions, egg and asparagus with cheese sauce.

Yutaka Izakaya Japanese Restaurant- Affordable Japanese Cuisine in Aurora Blvd.

My family loves Japanese cuisine but seldom dine at Japanese restaurants due to the hefty pricetag. When we saw this small Japanese restaurant named Yutaka Izakaya near UERM along Aurora Blvd., we decided to give it a try.

It has this dark facade with red Japanese lanterns and some bamboo plants that bring out an authentic Japanese ambiance.

Upon entering the place, guests would be warmly greeted by all the staff.

"Irasshaimase!"

It adds a more welcoming touch to all their customers coming in.

There's a sushi bar on the inner corner of the restaurant where the Japanese owner himself makes the sushi and sashimi orders.

We were each handed out a menu with their wide variety of choices. We were surprised to see that their prices were really affordable. I guess they made it affordable since most of their market are students from nearby colleges and universities.

❆❆❆ Christmas in Bohol ❆❆❆

After the tiring and stressful bazaar last month, our family spent Christmas in Bohol and Cebu.

We first headed to Bohol via Super Cat's Cebu-Tagbiliran trip and rented a shuttle to take us to Panglao Island.

The shuttle we rented was good for 10 pax but our group of 11 managed to fit in. Shuttle rentals from the terminal to Panglao usually cost around P800 but we managed to haggle and eventually settled for P700.

We stayed at Panglao Regents Park near Alona Beach which I learned was a great location for water sports. I suggested and booked the place since according to online sources, it's just a few minutes walk from the beachfront of Alona Beach.

Here are some photos of the place:

❤❤❤ A Christmas Surprise! ❤❤❤❤

D and I weren't able to celebrate Christmas last year since their family went to China and my family went to Cebu and Bohol.

And so he invited me for dinner few weeks before we both leave and surprised me with his Christmas gift on the way to Torch.

He first gave me a long-stemmed red rose followed by a big box wrapped in a blue Christmas wrapper.

Love Desserts- Eat All You Can Desserts in Banawe

Read a review from Cheftonio's Blog about this new dessert place in Banawe called Love Desserts. And so I immediately suggested we try it there last night since Banawe is just near our place.

I wasn't able to get their complete address but I was sure it was along Banawe so we just drove til Causeway and finally saw the white signage just across the street beside Bruno's barbershop.

Love Desserts opened December 12 of last year as posted in a large tarpaulin just outside the place. I was surprised that they were serving rice meals too also posted in a smaller one.

Few tables were occupied when we arrived and the waiter asked if we want to sit on the inner part of the room for a more private setting. But we thought that sitting near the buffet area is much better for easier access. Right?

The first station was filled with different pastries and desserts while the second station had the crepe, ice cream and the drinks station.

Their drink station includes Milk Tea with some black pearls which you can place on your drink and Iced tea.
