Besty's Restaurant- Comfort Food in Bayo Condotel Suites Quezon City

Tucked away from the busy streets of Tomas Morato is this new gem awaiting to be discovered- Besty's Restaurant is located along the corners of Scout Tuazon and Scout Bayoran near Abs-Cbn. Honestly, I haven't heard about the 4-month old restaurant until I was invited to check it out recently.

We were the only customers when we arrived , but it wasn't too long before the place was packed. By packed I mean 3 other groups of diners came in. The place is quite small so I suggest you call ahead for reservations. The restaurant can accommodate around 20 people inside, while a group of 6 people can enjoy dining al fresco. It's a nice place though especially if you just want a quiet place to dine with friends or a date.

Maginhawa Eats: The Snack Shack Fresh Grilled Burgers- Sikatuna

The Snack Shack- home of the famous fresh grilled burgers located at V. Luna Ext.,Sikatuna Village near Maginhawa. Their menu is pretty simple and straightforward..Cheeseburgers or Sausages. Grab a seat in one of the few high chairs facing a brick wall while enjoying your cheeseburger, or have it like everybody else- To Go. It seems most of their loyal customers like to just grab and go. In fact, a lot of them order/call in advance and just pick-up their orders when they're ready.

Of course, we went for their best-selling Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese (P70). Can't get enough? Go for their Half Pounder w/ Double Cheese (P135).. double the patty, double the cheese, double to fun!

Maginhawa Eats: Mandi Persian Grill- Shawarma, Kebab and More!

After trying out the famous Snack Shack in V. Luna Extension, we drove along Maginhawa searching for another food stop. We decided to try Mandi Persian Grill. It was a bit late so we had the place all by ourselves.. or so we thought. Right after we ordered, some customers started coming in. I guess everybody's getting some shawarma and kebab fix late at night.

Maginhawa Eats: Katz Diner in Malingap Street, Sikatuna Village

A trip to Maginhawa got us searching for a place to have dinner after work. With a number of restaurants opening around the Metro, it was nice to visit this humble neighborhood known for budget-friendly eats and hole-in-the-wall restaurants. If there is a Kapitolyo food street for the young professionals in Ortigas, Maginhawa caters more on the students around the UP campus. With that, food prices here are a lot cheaper, and your P500 could already go a long way. 

Some restaurants on our list were fully booked so we decided to choose a less crowded destination and found ourselves in Katz Diner along Malingap Street, Sikatuna Village.
