Banapple Pies and Cheesecake- Cheesecakes for Dessert

We went to Banapple Northeast Square Branch along Connecticut St. in Greenhills after our lunch at Thai Dara to grab some desserts.

Instead of the usual Banoffee Pie which is their best-seller, we opt to have some cheesecakes!

I had their new flavor Banana Starry-Berry Custard Cheesecake (P120)

Thai Dara- Authentic Bangkok Street Food

Thai Dara is a little restaurant along Granada St. which serves authentic Thai food.

I've been here twice and I must say that it really feels like you are eating in Thailand.

The place is not too grand and interiors were very minimal.

Craving for Cravings! at Shangri-La Plaza Mall

Craving for salad?

Then Cravings is the place for you!

Cravings has an all-you-can-eat salad bar for only P295 that also comes with splurge on their soup.

But of you order from one of their main courses, you'll get the splurge on salad for free!

Or if you order from their pasta and sandwiches, you can also get it for an additional of P95 pesos.

Their Menu:

Tasty Dumplings, Tasty Porkchop!

Tasty Dumplings is a classic favorite of our family especially for its famous Porkchop.

The big and flat porkchop is their house specialty.

I think every customer who goes in the restaurant orders their porkchop rice/noodles.

I don't eat porkchop quite a lot because I find it tough to chew. But thanks to Tasty Dumplings, they invented a way to make porkchop tastier and juicier!

By pounding them as thin as pancakes.

Ye Dang Korean Restaurant- A Korean Gem in Pasig

I've been hearing a lot about Ye Dang from my colleagues and it really intrigued me. I am a big fan of korean bbq restaurants since I love grilling my own food. I also love their complimentary appetizers which I think is the best part of the korean barbecue dining experience.

Ye Dang is just walking distance from my office, but I never got the chance to eat there.

Finally, the long wait is over..

We were lucky enough to get ourselves a seat upon arriving since most of the customers waiting in line were in groups. Customers patiently waited until their numbers were called.

Upon checking out their menu, we noticed how limited their selections were. It was a plus point since we did not had a hard time choosing what to order.

They use charcoals for their grill which gives an authentic Korean barbecue experience.

Ramen Bar- Authentically Delicious!

We finally got to try Ramen Bar in Eastwood after a day of eating gelato ice cream and soft-serve ice cream.

I was not quite hungry from the ice cream I consumed that afternoon so I thought D and I would just share a bowl of ramen.

The place was packed that night but customers patiently wait outside until finally getting themselves a seat.

You could hardly see a table unoccupied since after a group comes out, new customers are taken into their seats.

Pictures of cartoon drawings framed and hung on the wall reminded me of Anime.

They printed their menu into the placemats that gives every customer the chance to browse through the menu all at the same time.

My Thai Kitchen- Not My kind of Thai

We ate at My Thai Kitchen in Eastwood last Sept 3 to celebrate D's birthday.

It's ironic how D used to not like Thai food. Thanks to me, he was forced to like it now. :)

Browsing through their menu, I noticed how extensive their menu was compared to other Thai restaurants we tried.

Sweet Pea- American Comfort Food at The Venice.

Sweet Pea.

Even the name of it sounds so comforting..

Wait until you get into that little cozy restaurant just around the corner of The Venice Piazza in McKinley.

Ceiling fans accentuated a home-y and classic feel, while vintage frames were hung across a brick wall.

The bar area had those diner-type lights hanging from the ceiling and some quirky stuffs like the complete set of white table and kitchen wares mounted on the wall.
