Trinoma Food Crawl Co-Presentated by Yummy Magazine- Ginza Bairin, Hanamaruken Ramen, Mango Tree Bistro, Wee Nam Kee, Pearl Rive Cafe

One mall, five restaurants, ten dishes, all in just one day. A food crawl featuring 5 restaurants in Trinoma was organized by the Yummy team (Yummy Magazine and Yummy.ph), wherein selected bloggers sampled 2 signature dishes from each restaurant.

Are you ready for the Trinoma Food Crawl? Check out these gastronomic destinations in Trinoma where you can enjoy sumptuous Asian delights.

1st stop- Ginza Bairin

"Ginza Bairin was the first Tonkatsu restaurant in Ginza, serving authentic katsu since 1927."

Rosu Katsu Curry Set (P375)

One of Ginza Bairin's best-selling innovative dishes, the Rosu Katsu Curry is made with delicious pork loin paired with spice-filled curry. Choose between mild or spicy curry sauce depending on your heat preference. The fat trimmings on the rosu pork cutlet gave the dish an added flavor and aroma, making each spoonful a delight to the palate.

Special Katsudon Set (P395)

Hailed as the No. 1 donburi in Japan, this Ginza Bairin original is made up of lean and meaty hire katsu, with an intensely flavorful sauce simmered for hours, and served with a double serving of golden farm fresh eggs- one mixed with the katsu, and another one served on top.

Green Tea/ Black Sesame Ice Cream (P80)

The best way to end a katsu meal- have a scoop or two of Ginza Bairin's creamy ice cream flavors.

2nd stop- Hanamaruken Ramen

" Enjoy authentic taste of Osaka's favorite ramen- the Happiness Ramen"

Signature Happiness Ramen (P480)

Serving happiness to the Filipinos one bowl at a time, this shoyu tonkotsu broth and noodles, topped with a huge slab of slow-braised pork rib is truly a bowl of comfort and smiles.

Drunk Man Rice Bowl (P240)

You don't have to be drunk to appreciate this rice bowl of chopped kakuni served with two sunny side ups. What makes this dish extra tasty is the special homemade braising sauce drizzled over the eggs and rice.

Check here for review of Hanamaruken Ramen.

3rd stop- Mango Tree Bistro

"Comtemporary Thai Cuisine At Its Best!"

Gai Tha Krai Yang (P330)

I love Thai food, and it was refreshing to try something new at Mango Tree Bistro instead of the usual pad thai, curry, and khao kluk kapi (bagoong rice). The grilled Thai herbed chicken served in lemongrass skewers was very juicy and made even more flavorful with a special Northeastern Thai dipping sauce.

Grapow Moo (P380)

The Grapow Moo at Mango Tree Bistro is a simple dish with basic Thai cuisine ingredients- stir-fried pork, garlic, fresh hot basil and red chili. Simple yet bursting with flavors.

4th stop- Wee Nam Kee

"Discover New and Authentic Culinary Treasures of Singapore"

It was delighting to see my favorite dishes at Wee Nam Kee laid out before me. The Salted Egg Chinese Style Fried Chicken (P295) and Hainanese Chicken Curry Noodles (solo-P225, sharing-P368) are surefire bestsellers that always leave a good impression. Not to mention the fragrant and tasty rice best paired with their signature Hainanese chicken.

5th stop- Pearl River Cafe

Our 5th and final stop for the Trinoma Food Crawl was Pearl River Cafe located at the 4th level of the Garden Restaurants. I was already full from trying out 8 dishes at the first 4 restaurants, but how can I say no to one of my favorite food- Dimsum!!

Steamed Crab Roe and Shrimp Shaomai (P99)

Steamed Bun with Custard Paste and Salted Egg (P65)

We were served with two of Pearl River Cafe's bestselling dimsums- siomai and these cute little egg custard buns shaped like hedgehogs. The buns were soft and fluffy like mantou, but I wish they filled it up with the salted egg custard more generously.

These are just some of the restaurants you can find in Trinoma.
