Yoree Korean Barbecue Dining- South Forum Global, Bonifacio Global City

After a week long vacation in Korea, I can't help but miss the adventures we had during that short period of time- going to royal palaces, shopping at Myeongdong, sightseeing in Nami Island and Petite France, and last but not the least eating Korean food!

These memories somehow reminded me of the Korean feast we had in Yoree Korean Barbecue Dining at the Forum South Global, Bonifacio Global City.

If you're tired of the usual Korean restaurants that offer samgyupsal-all-you-can, Yoree is definitely worth a visit for that authentic Korean barbecue dining.

Start with some classic Korean appetizers- kimchi, fishcake and veggies, before digging in their soft and fluffy Gyeran Jjim.

Gyeran Jjim (P130)- steamed egg on hot stone

If you want a more savory egg dish, try the Haemul Pajeon (P200)- Yoree's version of the classic seafood pancake with clam meat, octopus, shrimp and green onions.

Dolsot Bibimbap (P380)- stonebowl bibimbap topped with sauteed vegetables and beef

How can one go wrong with the Korean rice dish beautifully topped with assorted vegetables, beef, mushrooms, seaweeds and egg? Plus points for serving it on a hot stonebowl to keep it warm up to the last spoonful. All the elements gave the dish a colorful ensemble making it pleasing to both the eyes and palate.

Another Korean favorite, Yoree's Seafood Japchae (P250) should not be missed. It is served en papillote, a French style cooking method wherein food is wrapped in a parchment packet to lock in moisture and preserve the natural flavors of the dish.

Now, let's move on to the fun part- the grilling of meat dishes! Yoree uses an advanced built-in barbecue grill with charcoal briquettes for a natural smokey flavor.

Wagyu Kkot Deungsim (P820)- premium wagyu ribeye steak with button mushrooms

What better way to start the grill than Yoree's premium wagyu beef with buttered mushrooms and garlic.

But what really stood out was their Yangnyum Galbi (P720)- seasoned short rib marinated with sweet and savoury sauce with vegetables and shrimp

Enjoy the savory barbecue dishes with Yoree's refreshing Mojito (non-alcoholic) or sweet Citron Tea.

Complete your meal with an authentic Korean dessert of Patbingsu- shaved ice with adzuki bean
